Job summary

Economic Development Queensland Brisbane is seeking a lead financial analyst to shape strategy, build our in-house budget model and drive real-time reporting used by executives. You will manage analyses, forecast scenarios and partner with business units across the organisation.

You will develop Power BI dashboards, strengthen governance and provide clear financial advice to senior leaders while fostering collaboration with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Government experience is essential.
• Experience in financial analysis and modelling for executive decision-makers.
• Strong governance, process and controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-level financial analysis, modelling and forecasting.
• Build and maintain EDQ's in-house budget model.
• Deliver financial analysis and scenario planning for investments and operations.
• Automate reporting and develop real-time Power BI dashboards for senior management.
• Strengthen governance and controls across the organisation.
