Job summary

ASC, Australia’s submarine company, seeks a Finance Manager for the SSN AUKUS program in South Australia. You will lead a finance team, ensuring accurate reporting and strategic financial guidance for a major defence program.

You will partner with program leadership and external stakeholders to deliver governance, cash flow management and insightful financial analytics. This is a full‑time role based in SA.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related discipline.
• Full professional membership of CPA Australia, CA ANZ or equivalent.
• Experience leading a finance team with people leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in defence or similarly regulated environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and development to the Program Finance Team.
• Oversee accuracy and integrity of program financial information and compliance.
• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of all program finance activities and governance.
• Manage program revenue recognition, profitability targets and accounting processes.
• Drive cash flow management through invoicing oversight and customer engagement.
• Partner with PMO and stakeholders to align financial data and reporting.
• Lead reconciliation, audit support and financial reviews for governance and controls.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.
