Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd is seeking a Finance Manager - SSN AUKUS to lead the program finance team and oversee financial governance for the SSN AUKUS build mobilisation. The role reports to the Head of Finance - SSN AUKUS and partners with program leadership, customer representatives and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality financial outcomes.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in finance, CPA/CA membership, and proven leadership in complex, regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Full professional membership of CPA Australia, CA ANZ or equivalent.
• Experience in a finance leadership role with people management.
• Experience in defence or similarly regulated environments is valued.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with clear stakeholder communication.
• Ability to influence decisions through robust financial reporting and partnering.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building across levels.
• Strong planning, organisational skills and ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Program Finance Team, fostering performance and collaboration.
• Ensure integrity of program financial information and regulatory compliance.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver all program finance activities and governance.
• Manage revenue recognition, profitability targets and accounting processes.
• Drive cash flow management through invoicing and customer engagement.
• Partner with PMO and stakeholders to align financial data and messaging.
• Lead reconciliation, audits and financial reviews with strong governance.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements across finance.
