Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd is Australia’s submarine company, delivering life-cycle support for Collins Class submarines and selected for nuclear-powered submarine sustainment. This role provides financial administration across projects in Defence to support governance and workforce development.

You will coordinate budgets, analyse variances, report insights, and build strong stakeholder relationships to enable informed decision-making and project planning.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications in Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences.
• Experience with project management and finance systems is preferred, especially in Defence or a complex industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting activities for L&D, Talent Acquisition, and workforce development.
• Monitor project financial performance, analyse variances, and provide insights for informed decisions.
• Develop and maintain financial tracking tools, metrics, and reporting systems for governance and project visibility.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and partner with project teams on financial governance.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, high-performing culture while supporting project growth.
