ASC invites applications for Finance Manager – SSN AUKUS based in South Australia. You will lead the program finance team, ensuring accurate financial information, governance and reporting for one of Australia's most significant defence programs.

Reporting to Head of Finance - SSN AUKUS, you will provide trusted financial leadership and strategic insights to senior stakeholders. This full‑time role demands strong commercial acumen, experience in regulated environments, and ability to drive

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Full professional membership of CPA Australia, CA ANZ or equivalent professional body.
• Experience in a finance leadership role with direct people leadership.
• Experience in defence industry or highly regulated environments.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with ability to communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to influence business decisions through financial reporting and business partnering.
• Excellent stakeholder management across multiple levels and external customers.
• Strong planning, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching and development to the Program Finance Team.
• Oversee accuracy and integrity of program financial information and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of all program finance activities and governance.
• Manage program revenue recognition, profitability targets and accounting processes.
• Drive cash flow management through invoicing processes and customer engagement.
• Partner with PMO and stakeholders to align financial data and reporting.
• Lead reconciliation, audit support and financial review activities.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, policies.
