The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Director of Finance, Oceania to provide strategic financial leadership across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Solomon Islands. You will partner with BU Leads, Finance & Operations, and regional leadership to drive sustainability and prudent resource stewardship across the region.

The role oversees budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, governance, and risk management, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and boards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Significant experience in accounting, financial management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis
• Experience providing strategic financial advice and business partnering support to senior leaders.
• Experience developing and overseeing complex budgets and long-term financial plans.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and working across multiple countries or jurisdictions.
• Experience leading and developing finance professionals.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, projects, and organisational initiatives simultaneously.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across multiple organisational levels.
• Experience interpreting and applying financial policies, regulatory requirements, and internal control
• Experience developing, managing and implementing multiple projects and strategic goals;
• Fluent English is required for programs outside the US.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic financial leadership across The Nature Conservancy's Oceania region.
• Partner with Business Unit Leads, Finance & Operations, and regional leadership to drive sustainability and stewardship.
• Lead regional finance strategies, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, compliance, risk management, and governance.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leadership and Boards on financial decisions.
• Coordinate with global finance teams to align regional and organizational priorities.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements and statutory obligations across Oceania.
