Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the finance leadership team as second-in-command, overseeing financial reporting, governance and audit processes. You will drive transformation initiatives and partner with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

reporting to Group Financial Controller and leading a small accounting team, you will influence organisational outcomes and broaden your leadership experience across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification.
• Experience in Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical accounting expertise incl. statutory reporting, audit and control.
• Proven people leadership experience with high-performing teams.
• Experience operating in a complex, multi-entity organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of two Financial Accountants and one Senior Accountant.
• Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting across the Group.
• Lead monthly Board reporting with clear analysis.
• Manage statutory reporting obligations, annual financial statements and external audits.
• Strengthen financial controls and balance sheet governance.
• Partner with operational and corporate stakeholders for financial insights.
• Lead finance-related transformation, process improvement and automation projects.
• Support standardisation of financial processes and reporting capabilities.
• Drive accountability and professional development within the finance team.
