Job summary

Fire Rescue Victoria is seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to lead financial governance, budgeting and reporting within the Fire Equipment Services division. You will develop plans, deliver accurate financial statements, and provide strategic advice to FRV leadership.

You will coach a high‑performing team, ensure compliance with AASB standards, manage systems and controls, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise value for Victoria's community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance or related field is required.
• CPA and/or CA qualification is mandatory.
• Governance, Audit & Risk qualifications preferred.
• Project/IT system qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimise financial governance, budgeting, and reporting for FRV's Fire Equipment Services.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic objectives.
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; monitor cash flow and performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and audits in line with standards.
