Job summary

MCC is seeking a planning and estimating professional to coordinate and optimize job preparation in our manufacturing environment. You will schedule work, prepare costed options, and collaborate with production, purchasing, and customer service to meet deadlines and improve efficiency.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly across teams are essential. Valid Australian working rights and a proactive approach to continuous improvement are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning or estimating in manufacturing, print, or packaging preferred but not essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and propose solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs for appropriate press technology in a timely manner.
• Produce accurate estimates with cost and performance options.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate tooling and stocks with suppliers to optimize service and outcomes.
• Maintain records of estimates, tooling, and job specs for traceability.
