Job summary

R.M.Williams in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Production Planner to turn customer demand into practical production plans across our manufacturing operation. You will work at the intersection of people, materials, machinery and customer demand, ensuring plans are achievable and on schedule.

Reporting to the Production Planning & Materials Manager, you will balance demand with labour, materials and capacity to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production plans and schedules.
• Translate customer demand and capacity into achievable production plans.
• Monitor inventory and adjust plans to meet delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production plans and schedules.
• Translate customer demand, inventory requirements and manufacturing capacity into achievable production plans.
• Prioritise production orders to support customer delivery requirements and operational priorities.
• Balance workloads across production lines and shifts.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and material shortages before they impact delivery.
• Monitor raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods inventory against production requirements.
