Job summary

Bupa is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Sydney. The role is full time with hybrid working arrangements, supporting a diverse range of employee relations matters across the business.

You will manage end-to-end ER cases, coach leaders through disciplinary and performance processes, conduct investigations, interpret contracts and awards, and collaborate with the People team to drive better processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end employee relations cases.
• Experience coaching leaders and employees through conduct, performance and grievance processes, systems and policy interpretation and application.
• Supporting and conducting workplace investigations.
• Experience with interpretation and application of employment contracts, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
• Experience supporting HR processes and policies across the employee lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management experience with ability to influence People Leaders.
• Experience using HRIS systems, preferably Workday.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee relations cases and provide pragmatic advice to leaders.
• Collaborate with the broader People team to support best-practice processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across employee relations functions.
• Assist with workplace investigations and policy interpretation as needed.
