Job summary

The Ministry of Health is seeking a Director, Capital and Treasury Reporting to provide strategic leadership for NSW Health's Treasury reporting and capital governance functions. You will oversee reporting to NSW Treasury, advise on major investments, and ensure financial information supports government priorities and planning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex financial reporting, governance or investment functions within government or a large regulated environment.
• Strong commitment to public sector stewardship and delivering community outcomes.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across executives and central agencies.
• Ability to deliver strategic, sound advice on sensitive and high-profile issues.
• Experience leading teams through change and fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Deep understanding of Treasury reporting and capital program governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for statewide Treasury reporting to enable timely, accurate information for decision-making.
• Oversee capital investment reporting and performance to support major infrastructure priorities.
• Partner with senior executives, health entities and ministerial offices to address complex financial issues.
• Influence policy, governance and reporting frameworks to strengthen accountability and resource stewardship.
• Build capability and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
