Job summary

IFM Investors is recruiting an Executive Director, Owner Investment Programmes in Melbourne. The role leads and evolves the Owner Strategy, fostering active ownership across 16 owner funds and aligning IFM’s work with owners’ priorities and policy ambitions.

You will co-create investment themes, guide portfolio strategies, and connect owner objectives with IFM’s product development, client solutions, and asset management. Strong governance and stakeholder relations are essential.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ senior experience in institutional investment or similar.
• 10 years’ experience in a relevant role with related degree; CFA desirable.
• Deep understanding of institutional investment, pensions and governance.
• Strong knowledge of investment governance frameworks and accountability structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of collective investment initiatives aligned with owner objectives.
• Design frameworks to understand owner needs and translate insights into strategies.
• Co-create thematic investment and public policy programmes with owners.
• Provide cross-unit insights linking owner objectives to product development and solutions.
