Job summary

World Vision Australia is seeking an experienced Relationship Fundraising Director to lead corporate, foundation and private trust partnerships. You will translate strategy into a concrete fundraising plan, grow multi-year commitments, and guide negotiations and stewardship with cross-functional teams.

You will manage selected strategic relationships at Director level and coach a team to elevate fundraising capability while aligning with WVA priorities and impact delivery.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience across corporate, trust, foundation, philanthropic or comparable strategic partnerships.
• Strong fund-raising leadership and strategic planning abilities.
• Proven ability to grow multi-year partnerships and manage complex portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Translate portfolio strategy into a fundraising plan with defined priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Grow sustainable income and multi-year partnership value across corporate philanthropy, private trusts, and foundations.
• Lead strategic prospecting, cultivation, proposals and negotiations, aligning partner intent with priorities and acceptable risk.
• Strengthen stewardship, retention and renewal, including grant submissions, compliance and reporting.
• Own portfolio budgets, forecasting and performance; improve pipeline quality and conversion.
• Collaborate across programme, finance, legal, risk and delivery teams for coordinated partnership delivery.
• Coach and develop the team to build fundraising capability and leadership depth.
