Job summary

NSW Fair Trading is seeking a highly experienced program and strategy leader to drive strategy, priorities, reporting and oversee major initiatives across the enterprise. The role sits in a hybrid environment with Parramatta office attendance 2–3 days per week.

You will lead strategic planning, guide program delivery and advise executives on opportunities, risks and improvements, building a collaborative and high-performing team in a transformed regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed strategic planning frameworks that align priorities with regulatory objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of the NSW Fair Trading Strategy.
• Oversee delivery of strategic programs and initiatives to achieve long-term outcomes.
• Provide expert advice on program assurance, evaluation and risk management.
• Identify opportunities for improvement using data, research and stakeholder insights.
• Advise senior executives on opportunities, performance and risks.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team.
