Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a bright and energised Project Manager to lead the Joint Gas Support & Test Equipment (JGSTE) program. You will plan strategically, oversee procurement and lifecycle management for fleet assets, ensuring readiness, compliance and value for money for the Australian Defence Force.

You will guide a skilled team, set the vision, and drive stakeholder engagement while delivering cost-effective, compliant fleet operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ defence project management experience.
• PMBOK competencies demonstrated.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead high‑performance teams.
• Baseline Security clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer and stakeholder engagement.
• Plan, control and report project activities.
• Deliver contractual requirements.
• Manage resources and budget.
• Develop proposals including planning, scheduling and estimating.
• Identify opportunities and manage risks.
• Provide leadership to fleet management and asset lifecycle teams.
• Some travel within Australia may be required.
