Job summary

Teachers Mutual Bank is seeking a Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Affairs team and drive internal and external communications that strengthen the brand and engage our people. You will work with leaders to develop compelling content, deliver campaigns, and enhance audience engagement across multiple channels.

You'll partner with stakeholders, support campaigns and key projects, track performance metrics, and help protect our reputation with clear, timely communications.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
• Experience in a corporate communications or agency environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of strategic communication plans aligned to business objectives.
• Create engaging content for internal and external audiences and channels, including intranet articles, presentations, website, social media, events, and media.
• Coordinate and maintain internal communication channels, ensuring content is timely, accurate, and engaging.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to identify communication opportunities and provide expert advice.
• Support corporate campaigns, events, change initiatives, and key organisational projects.
• Track and report on communication performance metrics, providing insights to support continuous improvement.
• Help protect and enhance the organisation's reputation through clear, consistent, and timely communications.
