Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a senior executive to lead Contracts & Supplier Governance, accountable for end-to-end contract life cycle, pre-award to post-award, across customer and supplier contracts. You will drive strategic plans, negotiate terms, manage budgets, and foster key relationships within defence sectors.

This leadership role oversees global governance with Raytheon teams, supports strategy execution, and requires travel domestically and internationally to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• A University Degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience (when a University Degree is held).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership/management role providing strategic advice to senior company management.
• Experience in the Defence or aerospace industry sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations and development of customer and supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated experience in program and financial management, including Earned Value Management.
• Track record of inclusive talent development and mentorship that results in improved business performance and growth opportunities for employees.
• Experience in government contracts and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as the leader in the Contracts & Supplier Governance function and a member of Raytheon Australia's Leadership Team and the Raytheon Global Contracts Leadership Team.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategies designed to support delivery and growth and to ensure alignment of people, processes, policies, and resources.
• Engage and collaborate with peers and other leaders across the Contracts & Supplier Governance group, Leadership Team, and the broader organisation to develop and deliver strategic operational plans, as well as targeted goals, and objectives.
• Responsible for the Contracts & Supplier Governance group's budget planning and management and reporting on the function(s) budget.
• Establish and maintain key customer and supplier relationships at the Sr. levels of Procurement and Contracting.
• Ensure overall delivery and quality of the Contracts & Supplier Governance group's performance within budget and schedule.
• Ensure effective supplier governance across procurement and major subcontractor activities, including procurement strategies, sourcing, supplier engagement and due diligence, contract management and supplier performance management.
• Contribute to the Raytheon Global Contracts team by collaborating across Raytheon Contracts and Supply Chain teams globally to drive innovation, growth, and compliant, and efficient functional operations across Raytheon.
• Travel will be required, both within Australia and internationally, to fulfil the requirements of this role.
