Job summary

Thales Australia is seeking a senior procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract negotiations across regional and global objectives.

You will develop category strategies, run RFx processes, manage spend up to tens of millions, and influence design to unlock savings. Qualifications

• Technical/Engineering/Business degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years Procurement or Strategic Sourcing experience.
• Experience in complex project environments and large organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategy development to meet regional/global objectives.
• Source, assess and qualify suppliers; manage RFx processes (RFI/RFQ).
• Negotiate contracts and manage spend up to $50M per annum.
• Influence design/specifications to unlock savings and manage risks.
