Job summary

Compare the Market is seeking a Compliance Manager to advise across Money and Life Insurance, ensuring regulatory requirements are embedded from the outset. You’ll partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Experience and Commercial teams to translate complex rules into practical guidance.

You’ll provide SME support on incidents, remediation and regulatory considerations, while developing scorecards and monitoring frameworks for ongoing risk oversight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ compliance advisory experience across lending or insurance.
• Strong knowledge of consumer lending and life insurance regulatory frameworks.
• Experience within AFSL and ACL-regulated environments.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical business advice.
• Experience with compliance monitoring and risk management frameworks.
• Collaborative, pragmatic approach across multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist ACL and AFSL compliance advice across Money and Life Insurance.
• Review changes to customer journeys and provide practical compliance guidance.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Experience and Commercial teams.
• Provide compliance oversight of customer-facing scripts for our Contact Centres.
• Develop and maintain compliance scorecards to support monitoring and reporting.
• Review partner contracts and identify potential regulatory risks.
• Provide SME advice on compliance incidents, remediation and regulatory considerations.
• Support teams with IDR and EDR complaints across Money and Life Insurance.
