Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking a Community Partnerships Officer to develop and deliver projects that enhance community inclusion and participation. You’ll work with the Executive Manager Community Life, the Coordinator, and the Council to ensure programs align with Community Renewal priorities.

The role requires broad social sciences background, strong engagement skills, and experience in delivering funded community initiatives, with a current Class C license and a commitment to council

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, community development, or related fields.
• Knowledge of Asset Based Community Development principles and practices.
• Understanding of stakeholders in government, non-government and business sectors with collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in community engagement techniques.
• Hold a current Class C driver’s license.
• Understanding of strategic planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver projects, programs and partnerships supporting Council's Community Renewal priorities.
• Collaborate with Executive Manager Community Life, the Coordinator, Council and team to ensure alignment with organisational direction and culture.
