Job summary

Campbelltown City Council is seeking a Community Development professional to champion inclusion and participation. You will develop and deliver projects that support Homes NSW Community Renewal and Council's Social Cohesion priorities.

You will work with executives and teams to ensure alignment with strategy, governance, and outcomes, utilizing ABCD methods and strong stakeholder engagement. A driver’s license is required and the role offers a supportive, flexible workplace.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in social sciences, community development, or related fields.
• Proficient in Asset Based Community Development principles and practices.
• Knowledge of stakeholders in government, non-government and business sectors.
• Strong community engagement techniques and quantitative/qualitative research skills.
• High-level written communication and ability to deliver across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver projects, programs and partnerships for Community Renewal priorities.
• Collaborate with Executive Manager Community Life, Coordinator and Council to align with strategy.
• Ensure compliance with organisational direction and deliver community outcomes.
• Manage communications and stakeholder engagement in complex environments.
