You will provide strategic advice to the Executive Management Team, lead a Communications & Engagement team, and oversee digital, media, and public consultation activities to ensure clear, consistent messaging across all channels.

Qualifikationen

• Strategic experience delivering communication and engagement strategies.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate policy into plain English.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Experience leading a Communications & Engagement team.

Aufgaben

• Lead development, implementation and evaluation of council-wide communication and engagement strategies.
• Oversee external media relations and crisis communications.
• Direct community engagement and events, coordinating public consultation for major projects.
• Set digital strategy for council websites and social platforms.
• Lead performance and development of the Communications & Engagement team.
