Qualifications

• Strategic experience in developing and implementing engagement strategies.
• Ability to translate complex policies into plain English for public consumption.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Experience leading a team in communications, media, events and engagement services.

Responsabilités

• Strategy & Evaluation: Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of engagement strategies across Council divisions.
• Reputation Management: Manage external media relations and crisis communication when needed.
• Engagement & Events: Lead community engagement and events strategies, coordinating public consultation for major projects.
• Digital Strategy: Oversee digital platforms to ensure current, engaging, and compliant content.
• Performance Leadership: Lead the Communications & Engagement team’s performance and development.
