Job summary
Aurizon is recruiting a Commercial Portfolio Manager to lead the management of a diverse portfolio of mining and industrial customers in North Queensland. Based in Mackay/NT, you will optimise revenue across contracts and drive growth by identifying opportunities.
You will partner with internal teams including Operations, Legal and Finance to deliver compelling proposals and sound business cases, while negotiating renewals and ensuring performance against contracts.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial experience with client-facing roles.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and negotiate complex contracts.
- Proven track record in driving revenue growth and managing key accounts.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships across customer portfolio and internal Aurizon functions.
- Be the lead expert for customer intelligence and identify growth opportunities or risks.
- Lead the design and development of proposals, tenders, and business cases with cross-functional input.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contracting processes with customers, focusing on renewals.
- Develop and maintain key account management plans for each customer.
- Deliver contract performance through the contract management process and resolve issues.
