Job summary

CNH Industrial Group in New South Wales seeks a proactive Collections Officer based in St Marys. You’ll manage a portfolio of commercial retail loan accounts, engaging customers to resolve overdue balances with a balance of commercial outcomes and empathy.

You’ll collaborate with dealers, legal representatives, insolvency practitioners, and other stakeholders to achieve best outcomes, while driving process improvements and meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in commercial collections or related field.
• Strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Confidence handling challenging conversations and resolving complex situations.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with finance systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding overdue loan accounts via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Manage a portfolio of retail finance customers in line with portfolio guidelines.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and help customers find suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation within internal systems.
• Take ownership of collection activities from initial contact through to resolution.
• Assist with the management and disposal of repossessed assets, including valuations and supporting sale processes.
• Liaise with dealers, legal representatives, insolvency practitioners, auction houses, and other external stakeholders as required.
• Initiate legal action where necessary and support recovery processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Work towards individual and team performance targets and KPIs.
