Job summary

Accor is seeking a Category Manager to lead sourcing initiatives for Facilities and Services Solutions in the Pacific region, with roles in Sydney or the Gold Coast. You will drive multi-year category strategies, supplier performance, risk mitigation, and value delivery for our hotels and clients.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to secure cost-effective outcomes, embed ESG targets in supplier selection, and ensure compliance with WHS and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in category management or strategic sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience in global sourcing.
• Understanding of ESG, sustainability, and responsible sourcing practices.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills across senior and cross-functional audiences.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to balance commercial outcomes with operational needs.
• Results-oriented and data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong risk awareness and compliance mindset, particularly in regulated or complex operating environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive multi-year category strategies for laundry & linen, energy, guest entertainment, and housekeeping labour hire, delivering measurable cost, quality, risk, and sustainability outcomes.
• Lead end to end sourcing and contract negotiations, managing supplier performance, SLAs, and continuous improvement to ensure value for money outcomes
• Identify and mitigate category risks, ensuring supplier compliance with WHS, modern slavery, and regulatory requirements across the Pacific region
• Build strong partnerships with hotel GMs, Operations Directors, and cross-functional teams to ensure strategies are practical, adopted, and aligned with hotel needs
• Embed sustainability targets into supplier selection and performance, supporting Accor's broader ESG commitments
