Job summary

WOW Recruitment is seeking a Category Manager in St Leonards, Australia, to drive category strategy across a diverse range of products and brands. You will work closely with Sales & Marketing to develop budgets, forecasts and growth plans, while managing supplier relationships and lifecycle strategies.

The role requires 5+ years in category management, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel. SAP and Power BI experience are desirable.

Qualifications

5+ years' experience in Category Management across multiple product categories.
Highly analytical and data-driven, with a strong commercial mindset.
Strong commercial awareness across merchandising and product performance.
Confident creating and presenting decks to senior leadership.
Advanced Excel skills are essential.
Experience managing the amenities category is desirable, but not essential.
SAP and Power BI experience is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Build annual category budgets, revenue forecasts and growth plans.
Lead range reviews, analysing product performance and optimising the portfolio.
Analyse customer purchasing trends and market insights to identify opportunities.
Source and pitch new products aligned with the business growth strategy.
Manage key local and international supplier relationships.
Own product range strategy, including lifecycle, offering and promotions.
Drive sustainable packaging initiatives alongside Marketing & Brand.
