KBR, Inc. is seeking a Capture Manager to lead the pursuit of new opportunities within the Australian Defence sector. You will drive win strategies, coordinate cross‑functional teams and oversee proposal development to maximise probability of winning.

You will manage complex captures, build trusted relationships with customers and partners, and ensure compliant, high‑quality bids that align with KBR’s Growth Lifecycle. This permanent, full‑time role can be based in several Australian cities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in capture management or bid management within the Australian Defence industry.
• Experience in complex captures across space or prime systems integration preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in developing and executing capture strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement win strategies, competitive intelligence portfolios, teaming strategies, customer assessments and all elements of captures to maximise probability-of-win.
• Leading cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, solution architects, engineers, commercial and finance staff, and business development personnel.
• Partnering with the Proposal Management team to oversee the development of compelling proposals, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and managing the bid process.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant policies, managing risks, and ensuring the integrity of the capture process.
