Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business case development from concept to investment approval. You will work with Finance, Technology and Operations to build evidence-based cases across our strategic portfolio.

You will analyse complex challenges, conduct cost analyses, and ensure investments align with priorities and governance. This is a 24-month fixed-term role with multiple Australian city options.

Qualifications

• Lead the development of complex business cases and investment submissions.
• Conduct options analysis to support investment decisions.
• Apply CAPEX, OPEX and whole-of-life costing concepts.
• Produce executive-level business case documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation across functions.
• Analytical and critical thinking to challenge assumptions.
• Experience in infrastructure/government or large enterprise environments.
• Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, economics, technology or management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of business cases and investment submissions from concept through to investment approval.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, Finance, Technology and Operations to build evidence-based cases.
• Analyse complex business challenges and define cases for change.
• Ensure investments align to priorities and support governance and funding decisions.
