Job summary

Department of Defence in Canberra seeks an APS 6 Business Analyst and Project Support Officer to support the Internal Budgeting and Reporting System (IBRS). You will analyse business needs, gather requirements and coordinate delivery activities across Defence, contributing to system enhancements and continuous improvement.

You will engage with stakeholders to document processes, support testing and implementation, and maintain governance documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis including requirements gathering and mapping of business processes.
• Experience in finance, financial reporting and/or financial management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to prepare clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify business needs with stakeholders and document requirements and processes.
• Coordinate project activities, milestones and deliverables for IBRS enhancements.
• Support analysis, design, testing and implementation of IBRS improvements.
• Develop and maintain project governance and business documentation.
• Foster productive stakeholder relationships and facilitate workshops.
