Job summary

Sorbent Paper Company is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Sales across Australia. You will deliver analytics, financial insights, and performance reporting to support senior leadership decisions.

The role focuses on evaluating financial strategies for profitability, driving improvements through data and automation, and developing dashboards using SAP, Power BI, and VBA. Collaboration with stakeholders at all levels is essential.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain environments (preferred).
Exposure to procurement, sourcing, or category management support is highly regarded.
Demonstrated capability in data analysis, financial modelling, and performance reporting.
Experience supporting tenders, cost analysis, and supplier evaluation is desirable.
Strong systems capability, with experience using SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel (VBA desirable).

Responsibilities

Procurement & Category Support: support category strategies, spend analysis, supplier evaluation, and cost breakdowns.
Data, Systems & Automation: develop dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, SAP, VBA) and automate reporting processes.
Operational Performance & Continuous Improvement: monitor production performance and coordinate RCA activities.
Commercial & Cross‑Functional Support: support pricing and profitability analysis, work with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain.
Project & Reporting Support: assist month‑end reporting and stakeholder engagement; coordinate projects.
