Job summary

Select Aust Sydney seeks a Supply Chain Analyst (Purchasing and Contracts) to join a global FMCG leader in NSW. You will own budgets, contractor spend, and SAP procurement processes within a hands-on, on-site engineering function, balancing supply, demand and budgeting for essential materials and services.

The role emphasizes stock management, bid evaluation, and complex budget analyses with strong stakeholder interaction. Temp-to-perm after 3–6 months, full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an autonomous practitioner in supply-chain analysis, commercial analysis, or procurement.
• Proficiency in SAP for PO and invoice management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers within an established contract management plan; support engineering team functions and manage spare parts inventory; enforce SLAs.
• Raise, receipt, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP; adjust POs to match invoices; challenge pricing variances.
• Collect and analyze key cost drivers and market dynamics to evaluate alternative suppliers; forecast costs and budget phasing for the site.
• Collaborate with site financial accountant to align running costs and budgets with broader business needs; deliver targeted budgets and analyses.
