Job summary

Greyhound Australia is seeking a high-autonomy Business Development Leader based in Brisbane, with regular travel to depots, client sites and industry events. You will own the full spectrum of national growth—from identifying opportunities in Defence, Resources, Utilities, Hospitals and Government to leading bids and expanding revenue on our network.

You will build relationships across government, industry and the private sector, surface opportunities before they’re public, and represent

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, partnerships or capture management.
• Proven track record leading tender, proposal or bid processes from identification through to award.
• Strong financial return modelling and business case development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business in sectors Greyhound doesn't currently serve.
• Build relationships across government, industry and private sector to surface opportunities.
• Represent Greyhound at industry forums such as BIC and TTF.
• Assess commercial viability and prepare business cases for new opportunities.
• Lead proposals, tenders and bid responses with input from Operations, Fleet, Finance and Legal.
• Manage and grow revenue on existing network across passenger tickets, passes and freight.
