Job summary

Sodexo Australia is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth from Melbourne and across the ANZ region. You will lead BD initiatives, manage end-to-end tenders and complex bids, and collaborate with Operations, Finance and leadership to secure profitable contracts across facilities management, catering and industrial services.

You will build and execute a 3-year BD plan, nurture sector networks, and coach teams while aligning with Sodexo’s strategic targets and risk

Qualifications

• Proven East Coast or national sales leadership in facilities management, catering or industrial services.
• End-to-end ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder bids including pricing, risk and governance.
• Strong internal stakeholder management and executive influencing capability.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead East Coast and national BD projects across facilities management, catering and industrial services.
• Own complex, multi-stakeholder tender and bid processes end-to-end, including commercial strategy, pricing, risk assessment, governance, contract negotiation, award and transition to mobilisation.
• Ensure compliance with all business initiatives and present opportunities and business cases to senior leadership.
• Influence Operations, Finance, Support Functions and Country Leadership on pursuit strategy and investments.
• Identify, generate, and close sales and new business opportunities; contribute to new product development.
• Lead bid management to maximise success and align with strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement a 3-year BD plan aligned with ANZ targets and global initiatives.
• Build sector networks across Energy & Resources, Education, Health and adjacent markets.
