Job summary

The Town of Victoria Park is seeking an Audit, Risk and Assurance Advisor to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role oversees corporate strategy review, organisational planning and reporting against our Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan, driving continuous improvement and leading innovation while supporting the Town’s compliance function.

You will contribute to risk management, facilitate cross‑department collaboration and implement improved processes in a flexible

Qualifications

• an understanding of contemporary corporate or local government strategic planning and reporting practices
• significant experience in organisational corporate and strategic planning
• experience in facilitating, influencing and negotiating at all levels of an organisation to achieve strategic objectives
• strong project management skills and the ability to build and manage relationships
• a proven track record of driving change, continuous improvement and promoting innovation
• experience in risk management, and ability to contribute to the corporate risk management program and be an advocate for risk management across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• overseeing the Town’s corporate strategy review and ongoing development, organisational planning, producing outcome-based reporting against the Strategic Community Plan and Corporate Business Plan, and driving continuous improvement and leading innovation
