Job summary

Fyfe seeks a Senior Asset Planner - Water Growth to support strategic planning for a major water infrastructure program. You will plan for growth and develop asset approaches, asset management plans and business cases balancing service, risk and lifecycle cost.

This role combines demand forecasting, option assessment, investment prioritisation and stakeholder engagement to guide long-term decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Engineering, Science, Asset Management or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of asset management principles.
• Experience with water/wastewater infrastructure assets.
• Ability to work autonomously and make clear decisions.
• Strong written, verbal and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic asset direction aligned with growth and corporate strategy.
• Forecast demand, service levels, risks, asset condition and financial projections.
• Evaluate investment options using lifecycle cost, risk and service considerations.
• Prepare business cases, program briefs and investment decisions for asset projects.
• Review outcomes from operations and capital interventions and adjust plans accordingly.
• Apply risk processes and analyse performance data to support decisions.
• Engage with operational, technical, delivery and external stakeholders to align outcomes.
