Careers at Council in Sydney, NSW, is seeking an experienced Arts and Libraries Advisor to support the strategic development and delivery of initiatives across libraries, arts and cultural services. You’ll help deliver public art projects, plan future library and cultural spaces, and engage with stakeholders to create vibrant places that foster learning, creativity and connection.

Formación

• Experience delivering strategic projects and initiatives.
• Strong research, planning and analytical skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Experience working across projects involving community, cultural or public spaces.
• A current Employee Working with Children Check.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the implementation of Library Strategy and Cultural Strategy.
• Coordinating public art, cultural and infrastructure projects.
• Researching and planning future library, gallery and community spaces.
• Building strong relationships with community members, stakeholders and industry partners.
• Providing strategic advice and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Monitoring emerging trends and best practice across the arts, culture and library sectors.
• Supporting the delivery of projects on time, within budget and to a high standard.
