Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a Frontier AI cyber security initiative in a highly regulated setting. You will own the project through its full lifecycle, collaborating with senior stakeholders, technology and security teams, vendors and delivery partners to achieve sustainable outcomes.

The role requires delivering complex, high-risk technology programs with strong governance, risk, and budget management, while aligning with security and architectural requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large, complex technology and/or cyber security projects.
• End-to-end project management across multiple workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to build alignment among stakeholders with competing perspectives.
• Solid business acumen, governance and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a complex, high-risk strategic project.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success measures.
• Manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Develop business cases and manage governance and approval processes.
• Own project plans, schedules, budgets and delivery roadmaps.
• Translate strategic objectives into executable delivery plans.
• Partner with business, technology, data and cyber security teams.
• Facilitate informed business and technical decision-making.
• Ensure alignment with architecture, security and operational requirements.
• Drive governance, reporting and project health.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies as appropriate.
