Job summary

IC Resources Recruitment is seeking a Lead AI Architect for a UK-based deep-tech company in Cambridge. The role defines the technical direction for an advanced modeling environment to analyze full-stack AI inference performance.

You will bridge hardware engineering, software systems and DL workloads, drive the strategic roadmap, establish validation methods and guide a team of engineers while engaging with executives and external partners.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree (PhD or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Architecture, or related quantitative field.
• Proven track record leading complex engineering projects from prototype to deployment.
• Deep technical knowledge of GPU architectures and memory bandwidth constraints.
• Familiarity with distributed inference frameworks and data-center infrastructure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive the long-term technical roadmap for an enterprise-grade performance modeling platform.
• Bridge semiconductor hardware engineering, systems software and DL model workloads.
• Establish validation methodologies and high-performance engineering standards.
• Act as chief technical voice translating infrastructure concepts for executives and partners.
• Mentor a team of systems and research engineers, fostering innovation.
