Job summary

UGL Limited is seeking a Senior Advisor, Indigenous Engagement and Social Inclusion, to drive governance and strategic direction in Indigenous engagement and social inclusion across projects.

The role involves working with tender teams, project stakeholders, and external groups to achieve employment and procurement targets, while leading training initiatives and reporting on progress. The position requires travel and multi-site engagement across Australia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in human resources, Indigenous Engagement.
• Extensive experience in diversity and inclusion programs or similar roles.
• Extensive experience in Indigenous employment, training and community engagement.
• Experience in social procurement, supplier diversity or similar roles.
• Knowledge of government policies in construction industry and tender process.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs to deliver on commitments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Tenders: advise tender teams on Indigenous and Social procurement KPIs and requirements; ensure tender responses are completed on time; maintain strategy for Indigenous and Social Inclusion.
• Projects: ensure projects know KPIs and requirements; work with stakeholders to implement social procurement reporting; provide guidance to meet targets.
• Indigenous: develop Indigenous procurement strategy; liaise with suppliers and organisations; maintain relationships with key Indigenous groups; implement cultural training; drive employment and procurement targets; report on Reconciliation Action Plan.
• Social Inclusion: develop CIMIC’s social inclusion strategy; maintain relationships with Social Traders and CareerSeekers; support initiatives for LGBTQIA+, Veterans, Disability, Migrants and Refugees.
