Job summary

UGL Pty Limited in Australia (NSW Sydney area) is seeking a Senior Advisor, Indigenous Engagement and Social Inclusion to drive strategy and governance across Indigenous engagement, social procurement and inclusion outcomes on major projects. The role requires strong stakeholder collaboration and delivery of targets through tender and project teams.

The successful candidate will build relationships with suppliers and communities, develop procurement strategies and advance Indigenous employment

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in human resources or Indigenous Engagement.
• Extensive experience in diversity and inclusion programs.
• Experience in Indigenous employment, training and community engagement.
• Experience in social procurement or supplier diversity.
• Knowledge of government policies in construction industry and tender processes.
• Experience in planning and implementing programs and strategies to deliver commitments.
• Excellent communication skills and data analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive workforce participation, social inclusion and Indigenous engagement outcomes across projects.
• Provide input to tender teams on Indigenous procurement KPIs and requirements.
• Ensure projects meet KPIs and targets for Indigenous employment (4–5%) and procurement (3–5%).
• Build relationships with key suppliers and community organisations.
• Develop and implement an Indigenous procurement strategy and reporting.
