Job summary

pitt&sherry is seeking a Principal Civil & Drainage Engineer to lead senior technical and design work in Melbourne or Sydney. You will guide stormwater drainage projects, manage hydrology and hydraulics analysis, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Substantial senior-level civil and drainage experience on complex multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with stormwater drainage, hydrology, hydraulics and modelling (12d, DRAINS, RORB, TUFLOW).
• Proven ability to manage project scope, budget and client relationships.
• Current professional accreditation (CPEng and/or RPEQ/RPEV).

Responsibilities

• Lead stormwater drainage projects from concept through delivery with quality, safety and client focus.
• Direct hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and drainage design across multiple sectors.
• Develop practical, buildable drainage solutions and navigate approvals.
• Mentor drainage team and coordinate across offices.
• Grow client relations and contribute to bids and proposals.
• Drive continuous improvement in drainage methods and design assurance.
