Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Melbourne is seeking a full-time Stores Person to manage inventory and support warehouse operations. You will play a key role behind the scenes to ensure a smooth in-flight dining experience for thousands of passengers daily.

You will receive, unpack and label stock, operate forklifts, and liaise with suppliers to maintain inventory accuracy while following HACCP and safety standards. The role includes manual stock takes and occasional shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have full working rights in Australia.
• Current forklift licence (high reach preferred) and experience with pallet jacks.
• Experience in warehouse/storehouse operations, including stock handling and storage.
• Able to pass pre-employment checks including National Police Check and medical assessment.
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting incoming products, ensuring quality and quantity meet standards.
• Unpacking, labelling, and organising stock while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.
• Safely operating forklifts and manual handling devices.
• Managing orders and liaising with suppliers to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Performing administrative tasks and manual stock takes.
• Follow all food safety, safety, and hygiene policies, including HACCP, IFSA, and QSAI standards.
• Willingness to assist in other operational areas as needed.

A day in the life of a Stores Person
Join our Melbourne team as a full-time Stores Person and be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse.
