Job summary

Alcoa Willowdale Mine is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the Stores department to lead a high‑calibre team across a 24‑hour operation. You will oversee stock control, liaise with customers, manage repairable stock, and support planning while coordinating for shutdowns and weekly cycles.

In this autonomous role you will mentor Stores Officers, drive stock‑checking regimes and ensure safe, efficient operations aligned with the 10‑week planning cycle.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a fast-paced operations environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse teams.
• Proactive mindset with ability to drive process improvements.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and safety practices.
• Experience in warehouse or large-scale storage operations is advantageous.
• Willingness to obtain Schedule 26 - Statutory Supervisor accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and performance-manage Stores Officers.
• Ensure stock, parts, spares and tooling meet site needs.
• Drive efficient stock binning and storage optimisation.
• Maintain regular stock checks and audit regimes.
• Support planning and act as the primary supply interface for internal departments.
