Job summary

Adelaide University in Adelaide is seeking a Stores Assistant in the College of Health to manage the central store, ensuring staff and students have timely access to equipment and consumables for teaching and research.

This full-time, fixed-term role reports to the Team Lead, Technical Services and runs until December 2027, with responsibilities in stock management, purchasing and administration, in a busy, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Warehouse Operations or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in customer-focused service with adaptability.
• Demonstrated financial administration and accurate record keeping.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience managing stock, equipment, purchasing or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock and equipment to support teaching and research activities.
• Coordinate equipment and consumables for staff and students.
• Provide high-standard customer service to a broad range of staff and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate records and administration related to stores.
• Assist with purchasing and logistics as required.
