Tonkin Steel, a brand of InfraBuild, is hiring at our Mareeba site for a hands-on warehouse and delivery role. You will pick/pack orders, load/unload with forklifts and cranes, and deliver to customers while providing face-to-face service.

Join a safety‑focused team with structured training and support, enjoying permanent, full-time hours from Monday to Friday 7:30am–4pm, within a values‑driven, inclusive workplace.

Formación

• This role is a hands-on warehouse and delivery position requiring safety focus.
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience is helpful but not required; training provided.
• Forklift or HR/HC licence is advantageous.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Mareeba site, you will you work as part of a dedicated, close‑knit team in a hands‑on role that combines warehouse operations and local deliveries.

The team is highly safety-focused and process-driven, with structured training and ongoing support provided to set you up for success.

What you will be doing:

• Picking and packing customer orders within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Operating warehouse equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Delivering orders to customers using company vehicles
• Providing face‑to‑face customer service at delivery and pick up

This is a Full-time Permanent role with standard hours being Monday-Friday 7.30am-4pm.

What you will bring:

• A positive attitude and strong willingness to learn
• Customer‑focused, reliable and able to work well as part of a team
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required – full training will be provided
• A forklift licence or HR/HC licence is an advantage, but if you’re keen to learn and have the right attitude, we’ll support you in gaining these licences
• Training will be provided across all areas of the branch – ideal for candidates starting their career or looking to learn new skills.
