Tonkin Steel Mareeba site is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator to join a dedicated team. You will perform picking and packing, load/unload vehicles, operate warehouse gear, and provide face-to-face service at delivery.

This full-time role offers structured training, a stable Monday–Friday schedule (7:30am–4pm), and a safety-focused environment with opportunities to grow, plus competitive salary and benefits.

Competenze

• Experience in warehouse/logistics/manufacturing is helpful but not required.
• Full training will be provided.
• Forklift licence or HR/HC licence is an advantage.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn; teamwork and customer focus.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and based at our Mareeba site, you will work as part of a dedicated, close‑knit team in a hands‑on role that combines warehouse operations and local deliveries.

The team is highly safety-focused and process-driven, with structured training and ongoing support provided to set you up for success.

What you will be doing:

• Picking and packing customer orders within the warehouse
• Loading and unloading vehicles using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Operating warehouse equipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Delivering orders to customers using company vehicles
• Providing face‑to‑face customer service at delivery and pick up

This is a Full-time Permanent role with standard hours being Monday-Friday 7.30am-4pm.

What you will bring:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required – full training will be provided
• A forklift licence or HR/HC licence is an advantage, but if you’re keen to learn and have the right attitude, we’ll support you in gaining these licences
