Job summary

Laminex in Canberra is seeking a dedicated HR Driver/Store person to join our close-knit team. You will deliver products to customers across the region using HR vehicles and collaborate closely with warehouse teams to pick orders, load, and unload vehicles, while upholding a strong safety culture.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, with start times typically 7:30am. A Heavy Rigid licence is required; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a Heavy Rigid truck licence.
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
• Physically fit for manual lifting.
• High emphasis on workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers across the region in HR vehicles.
• Assist warehouse team with order picking, loading and unloading.
• Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
• Report any safety incidents or hazards promptly.

Where your story starts:

Our team has a vacancy for a HR Driver/Store person to join our close-knit team based in Canberra.

You will be reporting to our Warehouse Leaders who strongly advocate internal organic growth so if you want to develop your career this is a great chance!

Full-time 38 hour per week rosters working Monday-Friday and starting at 7:30am daily. Your primary responsibilities will be delivering our products to our valued customers across the region in HR vehicles. This role also works closely with the Warehouse team picking orders, loading, and unloading vehicles whilst maintaining a safe work environment.

We are looking for a people focused and safety minded person who is ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.

You must have a keen attitude and willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience:

• Must have current Heavy Rigid truck licence
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role
• Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
