Job summary

Laminex is hiring an HR Driver at our Welshpool Distribution Centre, WA. You will deliver products across the Perth metro area, ensuring loads are secured safely and professionally.

Training includes buddy-driver support, forklift operation, and safety-focused practices, with full pre-employment medical testing and ongoing safety commitments.

Qualifications

• Must have a current HR licence and clean driving record.
• 2–3 years’ experience driving heavy rigid vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Physically fit for occasional manual strapping.
• Strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Laminex products to customers across the Perth Metropolitan area.
• Secure loads using automatic tensioners and perform load checks.
• Operate a forklift when required and participate in on-site training.
• Complete pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Due to strong business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Truck Driver to join our close-knit team at our Welshpool Distribution Centre, WA. Your main responsibility will be delivering our products to valued customers across the Perth Metropolitan area, while representing Laminex with professionalism and great customer service.

Shift: Morning shift (Monday–Friday)

06:00am –14:30pm Mondays, 06:00am–14:00 pm (with OT as required) for the rest of the week

What Makes This Role Different?

• There is a Buddy Training Program where you ride along with an experienced driver for two weeks before driving solo.
• Utilize modern equipment to secure loads using automatic tensioners
• Using a forklift is part of the role, and if you don’t have a licence yet—don’t worry! We’ll provide full training to get you certified (after qualifying period).

What We’re Looking For:

• Current HR licence with a clean driving record (essential).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience driving heavy rigid vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.
• Physically fit for occasional manual strapping.
• Strong safety awareness.

Pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing required.
